When the TARDIS arrives on a jungle planet, the Doctor encounters two warring tribes, the Sevateem and the Tesh. The Sevateem worship a god called Xoanon and the Tesh are supposedly keeping Xoanon prisoner... But why do the Sevateem call the Doctor the Evil One? And what are the invisible creatures in the jungle? The Time Lord, with the help of a girl called Leela, is about to find out.

The Doctor and his friends, Ben, Polly and Jamie arrive at Gatwick airport. They quickly stumble upon an alien plot, centring upon the mysterious 'Chamelon Tours' - a low-price holiday company, whose young passengers have been vanishing in unexplained circumstances.

The Doctor's past incarnations are being snatched out of time and transported to the Death Zone on Gallifrey, where they are pitted against their deadliest enemies!

An irresistable force draws the TARDIS to the barren surface of Frontios, where in the far future the last surviving humans cower amongst the ruins of their wrecked spacecraft. Under constant threat from lethal meteorite bombardments, few of the doomed colony members realise that the ground of Frontios itself opens up and devours the unwary. Not permitted to assist, the Doctor's attempt to leave is thwated when the unimaginable occures: the TARDIS is utterly destroyed.
