Doctor Who DVDs: Doctor Who Classic Series

The TARDIS lands on the Northumbrian Coast, where new companion Steven discovers a Viking helmet and the Doctor deduces they must have arrived in the 11th century. Steven remains sceptical, especially when he and Vicki encounter what appears to be a Saxon hunter with a modern wristwatch. Investigating a nearby monastery, the Doctor discovers further anachronisms. Who is the mysterious monk observing the time travellers' every move, and why is he so interested in the outcome of the Battle of Hastings?

The Doctor is called in by UNIT to investigate when a number of scientists go missing from a top security institute. Following the kidnappings back in time to the Middle Ages, he is unaware that investigative journalist Sarah Jane has stowed aboard the TARDIS.

Time-Flight: The TARDIS arrives by accident in the middle of Terminal One at Heathrow Airport. One of the supersonic Concordes has disappeared mid-air and the Doctor, Tegan and Nyssa soon become involved in a hunt for the missing aeroplane. The TARDIS gets caught in the Timelash - a powerful time corridor that brings the Doctor and Peri to the trouble planet of Karfel. The planet is on the brink of war and ruled by an insane much-feared dictator, who punishes Karfelons by throwing them into the Timelash. But why is their leader never seen in person? And what links Karfel with 19th-centuary Scotland? The Doctor arrives just in time to find out...

The Doctor is on trial for his life. Plucked out of time and space by the Time Lords, he is charged with transgressing the First Law of Time. He must defend himself against the prosecution led by the sinister Valeyard...

The Doctor has regenerated and all is not well. Confused, angry and acting strangely, the new Doctor decides to become a hermit, so takes his concerned companion Peri to a desolate asteroid where he plans to live for several centuries.

Whilst investigating unauthorised experiments into time travel aboard Space Station Camera, the Second Doctor and Jamie come under attack from the warlike Sontarans... Elsewhere, the Sixth Doctor and Peri also decide to pay a visit to Camera. They find the station abandoned, but discover Jamie, half crazed, hiding in the ducting. And he tells them that the Doctor has been murdered...

The Doctor and his friends find themselves in the lost city of Atlantis, where the crazed Professor Zaroff has convinced the people of Atlantis that he can raise their sunken city from beneath the sea. However, the Doctor discovers a terrible secret behind Zaroff's plan - a secret that coould destroy all life on Earth.

Invasion of the Dinosaurs: Returning to London, the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith find a city almost completely devoid of life. The civilian population has been evacuated in the wake of an unimaginable event: somehow, dinosaurs have returned to terrorise the Earth...
